Eric Maaske, MBA, CPA
Chief Executive Officer
Before joining eRenalMD, Mr. Maaske served as President of Fresenius Medical Care Extracorporeal Alliance (FMCEA), a $120 million extracorporeal contract services company providing perfusion, apheresis and autotransfusion services to more than 450 hospitals nationwide.
Mr. Maaske also served as the controller of the extracorporeal and practice management divisions at Everest Healthcare Services, Inc., managing all accounting and financial activities for four separate but related service entities, including a 30 physician nephrology practice. Mr. Maaske has worked in nephrology and related industries since 2000. Prior to Everest, Mr. Maaske served as manager of financial reporting for IMC Global, Inc., a senior analyst for Philip Morris and an auditor with Ernst & Young.
Mr. Maaske has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, Illinois and a master's degree from Northwestern University's J. L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management with emphasis in management and strategy. He is a certified public accountant.
Daniel McCormick, M.D.,MBA.
President/Chief Medical Office
After graduating with honors from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Molecular Biology, Mr. McCormick went on to the University of Illinois College of Medicine where
he received his medical degree. Dr. McCormick completed his residency at the University of Minnesota where he served as Chief Resident in his fourth year. Nephrology fellowship brought Dr. McCormick back to Chicago to Northwestern University Medical School. Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Nephrology with special interest in interventional nephrology and chronic renal disease. He is appointed Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine with the University of Illinois. Most recently, Dr. McCormick has received his MBA from the University of Notre Dame and is President and Chief Medical Officer for eRenalMD.
Ejikeme Obasi, M.D.,FACP
Executive Medical Director
Born in the United Kingdom, educated in Nigeria; Dr. Obasi received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Nigeria. After completing residency in Internal Medicine in Nigeria and at Cook County Hospital he went on to Nephrology fellowship training at Rush University in Chicago. Dr. Obasi is Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine with the University of Illinois and acts as Medical Director for the Merrionette Park Dialysis Facility. His special interests include home dialysis therapies and acute renal failure. Dr. Obasi acts as Executive Director for eRenalmd
